Proxies#

Proxies list#

The proxies list shows all the existing logs in a table providing the following information:

  1. the status of the proxy
    • : shows the successful connection of a proxy;
    • : shows an error during connection or not the validity of a proxy link;
  2. the name of the proxy;
  3. the version of the proxy;
  4. the URL, IP and Fiddler port of the proxy;
  5. its performance, RAM usage and CPU usage;

Edit, create, delete and other options#

The buttons edit , delete and ADD NEW PROXY allow you to respectively edit or delete an existing proxy or create a new one. The menus for edition and creation of proxies are identical and allow to modify/add a proxy name and a base URL.

You can access more option by clicking on the button at the end of a line on the proxies list, it gives you access to

  • Performances will get you to the performances page, you can also access this page by clicking on the name of the proxy,
  • Restart proxy to restart it,
  • Show configuration to obtain more information on its configuration,
  • and Logs that will redirect you to the Logs page.

Performances#

By accessing Performances from the button, you will be redirected to the performances of the engine. It consists of 6 tables with different information:

  • Cients Input Requests giving the n° of requests and the n° of transformation sequences as a function of the hour,
  • Requests Processing showing the average time spent by RPS Proxy to process a single request (scatter chart in the top right corner of the plot),
  • Response Processing showing the average time spent by RPS Proxy to process a single response (scatter chart in the top right corner of the plot),
  • Data Protection/Deprotection showing the average time spent by RPS Engine to process a transformation request from RPS Proxy (scatter chart in the top right corner of the plot),
  • Remote Target's Response showing the average time spent by the target to respond to one request received from RPS Proxy (scatter chart in the top right corner of the plot),
  • and Stacked Chart giving the average overall RPS Proxy's processing time, or the sum (stacking on the graph) of the four previous durations (percentage chart in the top right corner of the plot).
